Miss Retta & Daisy Dub

Post by VW8U6 »

Hello Everyone

I had my eye on Daisy for a few months, finally sold a harley I had and presto I finally bought Daisy home where she joins my other automotive babies. I did own a 69 back in 2006.

She is just beautiful. Bit of work but the bones are all good.

Yet to snoop out the plates properly for her info.

We are located in Sunny Queensland Australia.

Hope to take in some vital information whilst cruising around the forums.

Thanks everyone xo

Welcome and good luck with your new Beetle. Unfortunately, posting can be a little sparse on this site.

Looks like you have your work cut out for you!! Congrats on taking on the challenge! I'm working on a 66 as well, but I note that your's is more like the pre-65 Beetles sold in North America. Did they ever 'upgrade' to the post-1965 body style down under (larger rear quarter windows, rear window, slightly curved windshield, etc)?
