Intake Manifold Repaint

I want to remove, repaint and reinstall my intake manifold. Can someone tell me how much needs to be removed in order to remove and reinstall it? Different sites are giving me different answers, but none are specific to the 1966, 1300 6v engine.

To make it easy, remove the generator. Some say you can get it by but it may scratch up the paint. Have fun!
