Painting done 3 weeks ago and new parts are being installed. Waiting for the last piece of glass before installing the headliner and carpeting.

Will post complete specs when the car rolls out of the shop :)

The color change was more that necessary. That green was just awful. lol

The paint I used is a special mix of real micro aluminium flakes with a slight tint of black over a base coat of black. Glad yo liked it!

Engine

Post by Airporn »

Engine should have been finished weeks ago but my carb linkage hasn't arrived yet. That one I got, a hex bar linkage mounted behind the doghouse won't do so I and to order another one.

Dual Webber 40 IDA
Pertronix Flamethrower billet distributor
Pertronix Flamethrower coil
Pertronix Flamethrower ignition wire
Compufire dual-cool high output polished 90amp alternator
Scat serpentine belt system
Empi billet fuel block off + coil clamp
Empi aluminum pushrod tubes
CSP carb linkage
Euromax Doghouse cooler

Bolts will be replaced with stainless ones.

Last to purchase will be the A1 Sidewinder exhaust so it's neatly tucked in when bags are dropped.

Tins have been repainted a darker shade of body color.

Attaching the image doesn't seem to work. I'll place a link for now.

Engine test

Post by Airporn »

Here's a video on engine-testing.

My exhaust system hasn't arrived yet so we're making do with the rusty stock.
