Hey all,
Bought my first '66 about six months ago (I think it's my 11th VW over the last 25 years). Maybe THIS one will finally be the one I don't have to sell at some point! I've put about $2500 in the engine, another 1k or so in parts, and am expecting her back from the paint shop this Saturday! She's got some quirks (don't they all!) that this community has already helped me figure out so I figured I'd better chime in here officially and say thank you for all the great information.
So great to be a part of the air-cooled VW owners community again!
