What carb????

Just a quick question can anyone tell me what carb was originally fitted to a 1972 1200cc

A US spec 1200 would have been a Solex 28 PICT-1. I'm not sure if the UK market was different.

A 1972 US car would not be a 1200cc model. Did you mean 1962? Herc is correct. For the 1600 it would have been a 34 pict.

Volkswagen offered the 1200 engine right up through the '70s in European markets.
