Hello everyone. I'd like to start by thanking practically everyone on this site for all the good information I've read. I bought a '66 about 4 years ago from a small local dealer, test drove the car... seemed fine, then i signed the papers and went to drive away and what do you know? It wouldn't start. I never considered myself very mechanical until i bought this bug, but from day one it's tought me so much about engines and patience. Now it's running great! I think I've replaced practically everything except the block engine. I'm excited to start working on the interior to get it back to original... someone had a fun time modifying this car and i'm gonna have fun restoring it. Anyway, I probably wouldn't be on the road if it weren't for all the useful information i've read on this site. Thank you!
