Bill 8 mm is the ticket....tie rods are always a pita dont worry about it once you put heat on the rod it will turn... replace with good ger...

yes you are going to need new heads. I am sure you are talking about the #3 cylinder.On the right side of the motor there is what looks like a small bellows...is it there? Please take a look under the push rod tubes
