Yes Dave you keep that crap out there I don't want no more. The 1300 has I believe 77mm pistons and the 1500 have 83mm,1600 are 85.5mm The engine # is stamped below your generator stand FO is right for the 66 1300 as John mentioned If it starts with a H it will be a 1500, If it starts with a #5-9 it...

Yes You should show between 13 to 14.5 volts when you rev it up if your gen and reg is working. If you are showing a pos charge on your meter your gen is polarized in the right direction. very possible, gas you'd notice by smell naturally and also you'd have it in your crankcase hence a faulty fuel pump. How many miles are on the motors? oil could seep into the cylinder past the rings causing a minor lockup. Does she smoke when it starts? gas is black oil is blue. hope this helps a l...
