According to the date on the inside of the car (and the vin) my car was made sep 13, 1965. Are there any differences between early and late model 66's ? I just replaced my clips today and the posts on the visors were too long. I Guess my visors were pretty cheap, because all I did was clip the ends of to get them to fit, I didn't run in to any metal, but I didn't have to cut off that much. Not for a perfectionist, but it worked!

Thank you for that information, I just tried the flashers yesterday and the blinker box made a grinding noise then they started working as they should!
