Just for information. I found on the side of the block this motor was made in Brazil and its a AS 21 block.

I have an early square/rectangle (pass) and a round push on the drivers side. I hestitat to by aftermarket door handles because they are cheap. I need a pass round button.

Door Handles

1966 door handles were changed mid year in 1966 to the small round push button. If you have an early 66 you might have the square/rectangle push button. The square/rectangle started in 1960 ended 1966. In 1964 the mech was changed, but you cant tell from the outside. If I'm wrong please let me know....

It could be an American Beetle, US Military personnel brought cars over from the states. We had Clark AFB and Subic Naval base. Although Cebu is closet to subic naval base. Just info, and not very helpful

Most likely a mystery engine case. One thing I would advise is to check the alignment of the pulleys. It looks as if the 6 volt generator pulley is on the 12-volt alternator, which is longer than the generator and can result in misalignment and potential belt failure. The solution is to fit the lat...

Engine code

Hello all, I just finally found a 66 bug. My question is my engine code is UB068502. I have no idea which engine I have. Its a converted 12 volts system. Its also a single port.
