Yeah I have a lot of Pete's stuff on the car, the hinges and shocks, ball milled door pulls, full air ride, dropped spindles, Badd Series brakes front and rear, Iron cross jack plugs, ultimate front beam, etc. I've asked a buddy of mine to mill me a couple of aluminum covers that I plan to screw ont...

Well I thought I would give a quick update on progress. It has been slow the past couple of weeks as work has been crazy, as well as the hot temperatures. The engine is in the car now, and everything is complete back there other than the actual installation of the rear deck lid. I installed the P/W ...

So I ran the engine break-in this morning. No leaks, good oil pressure, the factory tins and thermostat worked perfectly. Now I have to pull the heads back off and install the inner valve springs. http://i900.photobucket.com/albums/ac201/agggilli/007-3.jpg http://i900.photobucket.com/albums/ac201/ag...

It is pretty rough and will require a lot of work. I would not pay more than $250 - $400 for it.

Yes I believe that is correct. That is the size tap I used to chase my threads with anyway.

Yeah, I hadn't really thought about it but, yeah I don't see why not. I'm going to run the break-in on the stand before I put it in the car, but I should be able to do two youtubes, one of it running on the stand and the other with it in the car driving off. I spent yesterday doing final sanding on ...

I started the engine assembly last weekend and worked on it this past weekend as well. I came to a halt when I needed to order some crank shaft shims to set the end play and cylinder shims to set the deck height. I didn't know what I needed for those until I got it assembled enough to take the measu...

The fenders are on, the running boards and sill plates are on, and I got the the bumpers and taillights completed. The taillights are bright LED units. The new hood is on, although not painted yet. All of the engine parts are on order and are supposed to be in by this next weekend. I am taking the w...

Hole in Headlight Bucket

Can someone post a picture of the headlight bucket in the front fender, so I can see where the holes are for the drain and the wires. I need to drill mine fiberglass fenders), and I want to get them close. Also diameters for the holes would be nice. If you can help me out, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Just a quick update, boy winter months really slow down progress when you don't have a nice heated garage. We finally had a couple of really nice warm days the end of this week, so I got a chance to work on the fenders and rear deck lid. I built a couple of raised saw horses and bolted the fenders o...

Ryan, did you get it figured out? I can't help because my car is not that combination. I don't believe they had cutpile yet back in 66, so it probably would be loop carpet. If the seat covers are red, then the carpet probably was too. For what its worth, that's the best I can offer.

Steering Column Ground Wire

Has anybody got a picture or two of where the ground wires on the outside of the car go to the steering column? I see a spade at the end of the column and another one on the actual coupler bolt too. I need to see how the wires are hooked up. Thanks. I'm thinking that the spade on the coupler must go...
