The 1966 VW Beetle Forum

Buying new stock style front shocks and noticed they sell an installation kit.
It looks like a bottoming bumper and upper and lower grommet. My old shock didn't have bottoming bumper is anyone using this.

First thing I did was get it running well enough to drive around for a week . Put some stock wheels on it, Carb, oil change, fuel filter, and gave it a bath.

My 66 started off in Aug 2015 brought her home. This how she looked. No rust holes a little surface rust on floor. Three paint jobs, drives, interior all there and these great chevy rims came with it. LOL
