I am having a terrible time getting the window regulators back in. I can't figure out what the problem is. I redid my '73 about a year ago and the window went back together easily.
any suggestions???

got a new 9 term. flasher relay from Airheads and all the signal/flasher/turn signal arrow problems are solved. Now, on to the brake lights. If I get them and the dome light to work, I'll be finished with the electrical issues. Dome light has juice to it but I don't know if the switches work or not....

Thanks for all the responses. I think I am going to go with grey vinyl. pretty close to the platinum beige. Don't like the baleric (sp?) beige. Grey would look good with the beige gray knobs and the Java green color.
will go with either charcoal or black carpeting.
Thanks again everyone.

my 66 is Java Green. I see that it had Ballaire Beige interior panels and seats (mine is gutted).
Did they also come in grey??
if not, what color carpet came with the beige interior???

I couldn't agree more. I tried to monkey around with the push rod for the brake pedal on my '73 and spent HOURS and HOURS trying to get it readjusted in the meantime burning up brake shoes X 4!!

John:
my 66 was converted to 12v by the PO. I think WW has a blue box also for about $60. will see if the existing one works or not.

Matt and John: by "blue box" I am assuming that this means the flasher unit, correct?? a WW item?? when you mean a hot ground, and resetting the fuses, what exactly do you mean? Cleaning off the fuse board?? I have headlights, tail lights, dash lights and flashers that work. I would think ...

any one know the best place to get window components?? I have gotten new felts (for the 66 and my 73) froe MAM and CIP1 and found them to be of kind of poor quality. Same for the inside scrappers (on the 73 I was able to re-use the originals: no comparison to the aftermarket) would like some highly ...

thanks for the info. I will try to locate the problem by trial and error. the gray wire is hot so the short might be between the hot and the bulb somewhere. Good thing I bought a bunch of fuses!!!!

I am also looking for a "reasonably priced" 12v radio for my 66. I don't care if it is AM or FM.
