Also see you got the 66 only flasher
Does yours have the flasher? If yours is a European model it would not have come with one.
You have a great looking car.
I'm pretty sure my new 1966 Beetle had the emergency flasher.

Very nice car. I purchased a '66 Sedan in February and have really enjoyed driving it. http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i19/cutacroshorty/1966%20VW%20Beetle/002_zpsac35961a.jpg http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i19/cutacroshorty/1966%20VW%20Beetle/1222108_zpsba535381.jpg http://i68.photobucket.com/...

Beautiful car. You are right, it is hard to find one that is in the shape yours is in these days. Is that the original color white or a different shade? It reminds me of my dad's 64, his was white with red interior. It's not the original paint but it is the original Pearl White color. At least I th...

Looks functional, if not 'added-on' ...LOL. Too bad they didn't make those units small enough to fit in the ash tray! You may have been asked this before, but did you polish out the black on the radio faceplate, or is that OE? The Sirius Sportster receiver is attached to the lower dash surface with...

Installed a Sirius Satellite Rceiver

Mounting the receiver, antenna and running all of the wires took me all of 20 minute to have the Sirius Sportster up and running in my '66 Sedan. It's not stereo but it better than poor to no FM reception.

My '66 Sedan First Car Show

The picture is of my '66 in a recent and first ever car show. It was a little shy at first being the only VW in the show but she later on got over it.

I would be a little more concerned with putting tires on that were weight rated for the car. Suppliers are taking a tremendous risk knowingly selling tires for a car that they are not designed for. Lot's of potential liability issues there. I have a local friend that is dead now because a dealer ins...

I would gladly swap anyone close my recently rebuilt 1600 for a good running 1300 to put back in my '66 Sedan.

Nice looking car. There's not many one owners around.

Should have kept those stock wheels huh?
