Been 5 years now and doing well.

never had a stock radio, still have the original factory face place
in the hole, I hate to remove it.. so I might just do something in

the Glove box. but I like to looks of the older radios.

Hey gang. what was supposed to be the correct Sapphire Radio for
the 66 like 1,2,3,4,5, what ever.
I am thinking it was the Sapphire II

Now to find the correct one some day

Mine does that when its very cold outside. then it will go away.. never happens in the summer months tho.

My just did this same thing and after the engine was pulled
we found that the two clips holding the throw out bearing had
slipped off and no clutch pedal , it was just sitting on the spline
shaft looking silly. the clutch cable looked brand new as well.

I see them from time to time on ebay. I as well have the block out plate
don't care if the radio works or not just want it to be clean looking and
have all the buttons I think anymore these days it is harder too find the
block out plate . still not sure if I want to remove it or not.

get a 12V converter for just the radio and:
The Retro Sound radios are modern and will fit right in.
