Seat Belt questions.

I need to place an order for several items and have been reading about the seat belts and accessories. I have a 1966 Beetle and need to install seat belts in the back seat because I have little ones in car seats... A few months ago we pulled the back seat out and really didn't know what to look for ...

Met previous owner of my Beetle !!

Rather strange guy. But proud of the work he had done on "my" Beetle ! Seems in my 1966 Beetle 1300 I have a 1776 engine with a modified motorcycle muffler. He wanted to know what all I had done to the Beetle since purchasing it. I told him "put gas in it 5 times and have the ...

Is the muffler a DIY project?

I need to order the muffler, installation kit, tail pipes and installation kit for the Beetle. The muffler shop said they would install it if I got the parts. Hubby asked me at lunch today if I knew whether he could do it himself or did it have to be at the muffler shop. Looking at all the parts it ...

Go ahead and laugh...

I thought you all would get a kick out of this... I am 48, hubby is 51. My 66 Beetle is Bahama Blue. Left blinker sticks and I don't remember to lift up the lever. Now for the funny... Cop hubby knows asked him if he had a funky blue Beetle in his garage. Hubby said not right now. Cop asked what do ...

Rear seat belts?

I need to install seat belts in the rear seat.

We have small children (and grandchildren), 2 in car seats.

What do we need to know before getting out the drill to install the seat belts...soon to be ordered. ???

New 1966 Bahama Blue owner...have questions

Okay, female here !! Hubby filled up the break fluid container and the brake fluid promptly drained out on the garage floor. Brakes work just fine. Question: Should we go ahead and put it in the shop or should we order the best maintenance book and attempt to repair the situation ourselves (myself)....
