Best wishes,

I opened it up, but the crank case surfaces that house the main bearings and even the camshaft shells were worn out oval!! Just trying my luck in case there are some used engines out there ...

hi.. assuming the engine oil is not over-filled...... First, like the dude says, check for holes, if present, weld the holes shut at welders. If none, and oil still spills, it could be coming out of oil breather on top of the pedestal. remove your oil filler cap and run the engine. is oil squirting ...

From Malaysia to Alaska

I am amazed that a tiny spark of passion in a young Porsche almost century ago took him to Hitler, his legacy to Hirst, Nordhoff, millions of first owners, , and now to all of us. I love you guys! :D ....................anyways..... There are many unique features of 66 that are not found in pre or p...

Post subject: Correct look door panels?

HI,

How is the trim secured to the fabric of the door panel? Is it secured onto both the fabric and the card-board?

Thanks..

Hi--- 66 bug has emergency flasher switch?

HI there,

Wondering if my aug 66 bug was factory fitted with emergency flasher switch, my understanding was that only models after 66 had it...

Also, how different is the ignition/starter switch of 66 compared to say, 65 (1200) and 64?

Thanks

Evel.

I am about do up headliners for my 66, and was told that this car has a different headliner design / spec. Is this true?

Also, are hubcaps unique just for this model?

thanks
