I have seen that. I don't have the D+ / F post right on the generator just 3 wires coming out of slots on the top much like the one below. The larger wire goes to the brushes while the small two seem to be fields. Would the brushes be my D+ and the fields be my DF? Just can not get this stupid thing...

Hello! Finally got old Peabody out of hawk and I am trying to make sure I am wiring this thing right. Does anyone have an exploded internal view of these generators of what they are supposed to look like? I want to make sure its all correct inside... Starting to anger me this problem is, i'm usually pretty savy with electrical work.

As for the tension on the belt, no slack it turns the generator just fine.
