Almost 51,000 views, NICE! I'm going to take my son-in-law to the Charlotte Auto Fair the first weekend in April to see what we can pick up. We should have about $12K-$14K to spend, so with an estimated 1600 classic cars for sale on hand, we hope to bring something cool home for him. Should be an aw...

Just kidding, I'm just glad that my thread appears to continue to garner interest and hopefully give others motivation and/or inspiration to tackle their own cool projects. I wanted to show what could be done with enough hard work, persev...

No more project cars, just spending time with my wife, daughter and grand daughter. I have built and restored several vehicles in my lifetime, but the bug was the pinnacle of them all. I had the $ and ability to do it the way I wanted and it turned out exactly as I envisioned it. I sold all of my eq...

He says he is taking the VW to the Mecum auto auction next month, so who knows where it might show up. It might end up in your part of the w...

Benjamin I havent used TMI, but I have heard pretty good things about them. I don't remember what I paid for just the carpet from Sewfine, but I don't think it was even half of what you said your TMI carpet was, so I'm sure the carpet quality of the TMI is probably better. I thought mine seemed thin...

Yes, I fabricated both consoles from scratch. I usually make what I want from cardboard first to get it exactly the way I want it ...
