We hard wired from the fuse box to the coil and had power. But then when I hooked up the Idle cut-off valve we lost power. Tried the same thing several tim...

No Spark help
Ok everyone, I need your help. We just put the engine back in our 66 bug. It is a stock 1300 6volt. Car turns over but I do not see any spark at the coil. I have checked up at the fuse box and it has power. The black wire that goes to the coil from the ignition gets hot but when I put a test lamp on...

Dumb question - can't remember where it goes
OK everyone, this is a dumb question. I took the engine apart to hone and rering it. Have it put together but found a tube that looks like some kind of heat sheild tube for something that I can not figure out where it goes. Can someone tell me where it might go? I has to be for some wires or somethi...

Brand new brake system
I have a bleeding question. Do you need to bench bleed the new master cylinder before bolting it to the car? We do this on GM model cars. I replaced all lines and have a new MC, so my whole system is dry, any tricks to bleed the system? Also if my brake pedal does not spring back does this mean that...

I then hooked up a battery 6 volt and tested to see if I had power at the starter, I did. turned the key and started cranking....

Now here is my question, we have the bug on jack stands and all 4 tires off. We tried putting it in all the gears and it seems to work gr...
