I would use a Ford 6V or 12V stater solenoid rather than the hard start relay

I found a fix for my problem. My car has and MSD ignition system, apparently, the ignition system will run, on very, very low current. The MSD ignition system comes with a diode, which can be used for run on conditions, it appears that the smallest amount of current from the alternator charge light ...

engine will not shut off

here's one for you all, my 1966 beetle sedan has been converted to 12 volts over 20 years ago, lately, couple of days now, when I turn the key off, the alternator charge light comes on but the motor still runs....until I step on the brakes, then it turns off no problem. Nothing new has been added or...

Headlamp adjustments

I just installed NOS factory headlamp buckets in my '66 beetle, anyone know a simple way to adjust the headlamps, I installed L.E.D. bulbs and do not to blind oncoming traffic. thanks in advance for your input ( o.\ | /.o )

anyone know I can find a pulley nut tin? It's the tin that goes above the pullet nut and hides the lower half of the pulley

the third digit is a "5" so you have a '65, plus there's no center vent on the dash('66 and '67)
