The distro is on quite right...and if it it wasn't, I am fairly certain I should still get spark from the coil to the distro cap - but I am not! Forgot to mention that the timing is as spot on as I can figure out. TDC and the #1 piston is all the way up. The rotor is pointing dead at the #1 plug wire in the dizzy....

The rebuild is not bad at all...provided you can take you tine and do it right. It took me a Friday evening to properly pull all the wiring and such - labeling as I went of course 8) - and then drop the motor. 8:00 am Saturday hit the ground running. Mine has holes predrilled for belts under the back seat. I will try and get a pic or two this afternoon and post them here. I have little ones also and the belts that came in the car were frayed and nasty(after setting in a barn full of rats and the like anything would be frayed and nasty I methinks...
