Thank you very much....!!!

I've mounted it that way, and everthing looks on the right way, but the horn isn't still working. I'm afraid that's an electrical problem, concerning a bad earth connection. I'd better take the car to a mechanic, and let a proffesional do his work...!!!
Best regards from Spain..!!!

How to mount a horn repair kit...??????

Good afternoon: I've just purchased a kit to repair my Beetle's non working horn pusher, but i'm into a big trouble. I don't know hot to fit it. The kit comprises three screws, six plastic washers and three springs, but i don't know which order are they fitted. Has anyone out there a drawing or sche...

I just can think about a "hand made" bonnet....

..or something like that, a "one off" limited run bonnet. The name of the magazine where we saw it is "Chrom und Feuer", IIRC, an old custom and bike german magazine where a german guy built an old VW to look like an old 30s Hot Rod car.
Best regards....

Thank you for the info. Actually, I already knew about....

...those "Rolls Royce style" bonnets (I'll keep from telling what I think about them, I don't want to seem offensive, :) ) The car I was talking about had a very differente bonnet, a very "round shaped one", looking like a 30s Ford or Chevy coupé. It looked very smart, indeed, no...

1930s Ford lookalike bonnet....

Good morning: A few days ago, a friend of mine showed me a picture of an old '66 Beetle but somewhat customized. The guy who owned the car had swapped the original bonnet for a fibreglass one wich looked like a 30s Ford. He even replaced the rear window with an oval shaped one, but kept the original...

Do you believe in miracles....?????

About a month or so ago, I started looking for a Merecedes 450SL....Not for me, but for my father, who likes that car so much, and was thinking about buying one. I went to a Mercedes Benz dealer at the south of the island who usually has classic cars for sale or trade. While strolling between big Me...

Blaupunkt Emdem radio: I've recenctly purchased this radio..

...at ebay, and was wondering about the accuracy of installing it in my 66 Beetle. It has the VW logos engraved on the knobs, so I'm thinking it may be original equipment. Please, Am I right or wrong?

Best regards from Spain...!!!

I think I've just found the problem with my gears...!!!!

Yesterdeay, I was able to lift up the car at a friend's garage, and found no troubles with broken clutch cable. BUT I found something that took my attention. The final end of the clutch cable, the screwed one wich fits into a lever at the gearbox, wasn't tight. I tightened it as much as I could, but...

Problems with my Beetle: The gear shift stopped working.....

Good evening everybody: The thing is that this afternoon, something happened to my Beetle. I've been driving it for two days, and noted the first gear hard to shift, and the second gear even harder, with a loud metallic scratching noise when shifting. But this afternoon, the cluth pedal suddenly fel...

New member from the Canary Islands, Spain......

Good evening: My name is Arturo Navarro, and I'm from the Canary Islands, Spain. I'm 35 years old, and have been a long term classic cars lover, but it hasn't been until last week that I've been able to find a lovely 1966 VW Beetle (Escarabajo in Spain). It's a 1500cc bug, in yellow colour with blac...
