Having issue where my car won't start. Starter is good. When I turn on the ignition I lose all power. 6 volts until I turn the ignition then nothing. Any ideas.

yes I did fix the problem. It was the battery conections.

No there are no lights at all. Even when I turn on the 4 way flashers or the head lights I get nothing. Something is cutting all power. I think it could be the switch. 6 volts to switch, fuse box, and to the blue box. Just nothing when I ture the key.

There is no power at all when I turn the key. The car was running and died on me. When I tried to restart it nothing happens. No power at all.

Need help with my bug. Was running tonight and it died and then there was no power at all. What could be the issue.

I am having trouble with my left rear brake getting hot. All the rest are doing fine. I have adjusted them and then replaced the wheel cylinders and it is still getting hot. Not as hot as it was but still getting hot. Is there anything else I should replace.

How hard is it to change the headliner, and if so what would I need to change it.

It was a miss once the engine warmed up. It turns out it was the after market distributor cap I put on. It was taller then the original and was not making proper contact. He's running good now. Yes my wife and daudhter named it Theador.

I have recently bought and rebuilt a 66 and am having trouble getting the engine to run right. I have adjusted the valves and point but the engine still misses when it warms up. What do I need to check next.

What size engines will fit in a 66 VW bettle

I was assuming a 1966 vw ran on leaded fuel. I wont harm it to run it on unleaded fuel.

What is the best kind of additive to put in the fuel, after filling the tank with unleaded gas.

jmartini, Yes I need that panel but it does not include the part below the window. I think I will just have to find an old VW and get that part from it. Thanks for the help.

Hey I need to replace the body panel below rear window above the engine on the inside. Does anyone know if they make an after market replacement part for this. Or will I have to get it from the salvage yard.
