Just plain Beautiful...................sweet looking VW! I just love the small white wall on the tires. I just might have to look around for that type of tire.

Home made door pin tool.

I was trying to figure out how I could remove my door pin so I can add another mirror to the passenager side. I saw one on another bug site and he wanted a fortune for the tool. When I get home, I'll take pictures. There is some maching to do but you probably can get away by finding the correct pin,...

Thank you! he rides good too. I took him for a 60 mile tour that day and stopped in a camping park to just relex and take some photos. At one stratch of the highway, I had him humming at 75mphs then dropped back down to normal 60mph. In the mountain roads, he handle the curves pretty good, I never r...

Yes! you can use a 12volt dwell meter. Just double everything on the scale.
If it reads 25 on the dwell, it's 50 for your point gap.
If your RPMs reads 425, it's 850RPMs............get it?
Very simple, I asked the same question a while back. I hope this helps.

The 66 is not original so that will bring here down a bit, but all that being said, There's a market now for VWs as gas keeps climbing. Depending on the pan condition and the body being straight., I would stay at the $3,000 price and work from there. If no takers, drop down to $2,500. Cleaning her u...

parking light bulb contact

Just noticed that one of my parking light didn't work. After taking apart the light assembly and checking for Voltage and the bulb which was all good. I tried to make the bulb spring clip have a better surface contact and while doing that, I broke the little parking light contact clip. Where can I f...
