I have been to the Samba and downloaded a bundle of specifications - 59.1" seems to be the number, but is that the same for a convertible?

Can someone tell me the height of a stock 66 convertible - from the ground to the top of the top? I thought I had read it to be around 60 inches. It does not have to be right down to the exact quarter inch. I am building a loft in my garage and want to make sure if I ever purchase a beetle again, I'...

Possibly purchasing a '66 convertible, the title says "Brand" - "None" I have read why they do this, but do all used cars in Ontario (or Canada) for that matter have a brand on "none" on them?

Says it a '66. I have a buddy who has a book and says 156 000 001 to 156 1021 300 are convertibles - is he right?

I am interested in purchasing a '66 however the VIN starts with a 156. Its a convertible from Canada. All my literature and web searching says it should start with a 116 or 117. Any help you could offer?
