Heater Control
My heater control lever will no longer stay in the up position. The spring tension pulls it back down as soon as you let go of it. If you hold the lever in the up position, heat does flow properly. Would someone please tell me what provides the friction for it to stay in the up position?

HI, May name is Dan and I live in East Tennessee.
I recently purchased a 66 model and am fixing it up to be a daily driver. I registered on this site so that I could find out good information and tips on how to keep my Beetle running great.
