I purchased a VW Split Window Van Logo (front) from JBUGS. It comes in just the base metal obviously. When they went to shoot the car with the paint, I had them do the logo as well for display purposes. I just hang it from the spare tire cover with a picture frame hook for now.

Always great to see another Sea Sand bug! I have to say that when I bought Frieda, I was not a big fan of the color, but as time passed and the time came to get the body work and paint done, I did not have the heart to paint her another color. She looks great and the Sea Sand has really grown on me...

Still waiting on my birth certificate for my car Frieda. Good idea about the birthdays and posting! I speak German so I was able to sweet talk the volkswagen woman into letting me know if my engine was the original motor, but no dice on the amount of time it takes to get your BC. 8 Months
