So…going 55mph on the hwy - my bug just died. no power. No Eng or Alt lights on the bottom of the speedo...…Car cranks…dome light working battery good… Fuel pump and alternator?

Hey guys and Gals...
I'm having issues installing the boot for my 66 vert. I can't find the snaps on the side of the car to secure the boot. Was there a optional instal for it???
