When driving on rough roads I can hear a loud clunking noise that seems to be coming from the left rear wheel area. I doesn't happen on smooth roads. The shocks are new and evrything seems tight. Has anybody else had this problem?

Turns out that there is a screw that locks the turn signal housing to the tube. Loosen the screw and slide the housing to the proper location.

I had already done that. It's as far as it will go.

There is a large gap between the wheel and the turn indicator. The tube is as far as it will go and the wheel is socked down. Any ideas or suggestions?

Did all 66 beetles come with a passenger side foot rest? Does anybody have one or a sketch of one?

Anybody have any tips on installing a headliner with a metal sunroof?

Is the light switch on the left and the wiper switch on the right? That's what happens when you don't take picture of the dash before tear down.
