Just purchased a '66 1300 that is very original; however, the driver's lower door hinge is loose (attached to the post but not the door); is this a common issue? Just bought a 1966 1300 that's amazingly original - not molested. Has some issues so will be relying on this site to help me thru making it reliable again. Had VW's years ago and forgot how fun they are to drive!
