mine has the pict 28. i believe they used up what inventory they had left over before breaking out the new stuff. my 66 is closer to a 65 but the vin and birth certificate says it's a 66 lol :lol:

there out there but pricey,not in kit form like the 1500 bore kits. which are direct bolt ons for the FO case.the 1300 was under powered in there mines i guess and bumped the displacement up.

have you switched your 180 degrees to see if it would fire that way? I had one that was off and it was not firing,of course i didn't pull my rocker cover off to check if both valves were closed.never did switch out the dist drive back to where it supose to be.

with the mityvac,attach your hose to the cylinder,crack the bleeder open,pump your vac tell your fluid runs clear.tighten bleeder and move on to next. works on your master cylinder also. keep your bottle full and cap off as mentioned.i've used it on my MG hydraulic clutch also and it worked great,an...

sound like your distributor shaft or bearings may be worn where the dist cam walks from one side to the other or your points may be getting hot to change your point gap.either way electronics should do the trick.

I installed a pertronix drop in in my bus.and left the vac line on it,but all I think it did was plug my line I believe the electronics takes the vac out of the equation like the 009 :roll:

leaking needle valve in float bowl. I once got a bad valve in a kit that i had to add an extra shim washer to get the gas to shut off.

That 3 way connector is there a open place spot? If not no Look for a set of wires coming from the drivers sidemaybe got cut off or dropped down behind something.

No I haven't but that dbl connector is just a union and there should be room for one more wire there where that one got pulled out of.unless the connector fell down
