What other type of Spark Plugs could i us? insted of Bosch Super. You guys think NGK is ok?

My 66 is Backfiring. When the car has been sitting all day and then i try to start it. It starts funny like shaky. Then when I start going and accelerate it like wants to turn off but it wont. It start doing little backfires then it will do a real one. But then when i get on the freeway and its runn...

my vw beetle runs sluggish at start why?
When I start it it's like it doesn't want to stay on. But when it runs then it's good. What could it be. It's been doing it for two weeks. I can't pin point it.

what type of oil's have this ZDDP Oil Additive? is it a can by its self? or is it mix in the motor oil cans at the store already? I see it online but there single cans of 4oz..

Hi Everyone? My question is "How many quarts of oil does a VW Beetle Take" :?: I'm going to change the oil and i want to know how many quarts i should buy, and what type. I read it would be recommended 20W-50. Bean that i live in California. That i should get that or SAE30. What do you guy...

maybe cable touching something. check all your cables from ignition to the starter. maybe you have a bad/broken cable..

I think i under stand. but on the 66 front fenders the turning light is not on the top of fender but inside the headlights. there all in one. ill post a picture of the way mine looks. see if its the same.

I was wondering if any of you guys here had a plan to make a rear speaker tray. Im going to install a stereo soon and was wondering what you guys may have done.

I can see it. So will change were the Filter sit's now. its next to the coil.

Here's a question that's been bugging me. Maybe someone can help me. Should my see thru fuel filter be full, half full, or near empty when the engine is idling/running? The Red warning light goes on lightly when i put the headlights on at night. the belt is ok i know its for the Generator and cooling. But i really cant see it during the daytime. could something be wrong is there something i should worrie about? Could it be a cooling problem? this weekend i took it ...

This is my 66 beetle project. When i got it. It was not togheter it was like in a box. Been working on it. Got the engine in. Need ti put the rest together. Its looking good. We are happy with it.
