Goodbye to Blue from Blue
Only you will understand how blue I feel. I have to sell my blue bug. I cannot use a clutch anymore. I have been driving two 1966 bugs since 1967. This is so sad. Everybody take care. I will keep reading your posts.

Original color?
What is the bug's original color? Do you like it?
I got the paint code number for vw sea blue and gave it to maaco (of all places). They matched it perfectly, so the inside and outside matched.
I do love the sea blue.
But go with your favorite vw color, imho.

Still 6v
Yes, my bug is still 6v. I have no idea how it was done. Thought they were 6v headlights.
Still have the paper work, so I can read it. But I can take your idea to my new mechanic and ask. He put in a new horn on the sidde, but it does not work now....
Thanks!

Wipers or electrical issue?
Hi, I used to work on my red bug when I was younger. I had John's book with me and we did tune ups, etc. We used it to drop a bus engine in the late '70s. Now, I can't work on the blue bug, but I do have John's book since 2001. We moved to Oregon a few years ago. The passenger wiper fell off the bug...

Hello from Oregon
Hello to everyone. I bought my first '66 bug, Santana, in 1967 from a friend. It was red and faded after our 25 years together. I drove it all over CA. Then in 2000, I decided to buy another one. Found a SeaBlue '66 from OldBug.com, great place. Great car. She was in LA and had very little rust, no ...
