I was just at The Great Canadian VW Show and a lot of people had the OE flat pedal or opted for a cruiser pedal ... The roller was discontinued for a reason I guess. Save it for Dune Buggys. Any other thoughts out there?

Pedal Assembly Replacement

Hi, I recently had to replace my 44 year old pedal assembly, it was still working ... but, the brake pin popped out under heavy braking and lucky for me - the E brake was tight. So, I had to replace it. My search for a 66' assembly was tough - so, I had to replace it with the "standard" re...

Awesome advice ... thanks so much. My goal is to have this VW running good. Problem is that before I purchased the car - the former owner did these "mods" and I don't think they help much. Another few questions; 1.) what is the difference btween a 34 pict-1 and a 34 pict-3? I've heard that...

Okay, now that I got the photos up ... I'll explain a little more. I fail air-care here in B.C. (Canada emissions testing) and my mechanic always says after tweaking the carb (to pass) set-up that this 66' breathes oddly ... because the carb isn't correct to the motor, etc. Also, when, I hit the gas...

Breathing Problems

Hi,

Will my "breathing" problems stop if I change my PICT 30/31 to a PICT 34? I have 66' with a 1600 running a PICT 30/31 from the original 1300.

Please advise ... thanks all!

Having some trouble posting pictures.

Sorry, Barrett-Jackson is on and my typing skills are reflecting that.

One more thing, I have had great luck with Wolfsberg West - As John mentioned as well.

Canadian dollar is going up and buying from the U.S. - doesn't hurt as much, but the duty fees do !!

Take 66' fans !!!

Welcome Russ !!! The 66' is the best. But, they're all great. You'll love the 66', I own a Euro Model which now live in Canada with me. Check it in the gallery (Vancouver 66). Brazil part are just not as good as German. I have a pair of Brazil value cover and they less the impressive. Leaky buggers....
